Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts - Cinema & Media Arts - Production program at York University, prospective students must meet specific Academic Requirements. Language Requirements

To gain admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts - Cinema & Media Arts - Production program, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency by presenting a minimum score on an accepted language test. The following English language tests are accepted:

• IELTS (International English Language Testing Service, Academic Module): score of 6.5
• Pearson PTE Academic: score of 60
• Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): score of 60
• Cambridge English Language Assessment (CAE, CPE): C1 Advanced (no score below 180)
• Duolingo: score of 120
