The Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Kinesiology and Health Promotion at Sheridan College offers a unique multidisciplinary approach to understanding human movement and its impact on health and performance. Academic Requirements

To apply for the Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences – Kinesiology and Health Promotion program, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including the following required courses:
- English, Grade 12 (ENG4U) with a minimum grade of 65%
- Biology, Grade 12 (U) with a minimum grade of 65%
- One of the following:
  - Physics, Grade 12 (U) with a minimum grade of 65%
  - Mathematics, Grade 12 (U) with a minimum grade of 65%
  - Chemistry, Grade 12 (U) with a minimum grade of 65%
- Three additional Grade 12 credits at the U or M level with a minimum grade of 65% in each course.
Alternatively, applicants may qualify with two semesters of postsecondary education plus all required courses listed above or equivalent with a minimum grade of 65% in each of the required courses.

Applicant Selection: Eligible applicants will be selected based on their previous academic achievement, which considers their six highest senior-level credits, including required courses.

Criminal Record Check: Field placement agencies may require a police record check for criminal offences, a vulnerable sector check, and/or a current acceptable record of immunization. Students will need to provide this documentation directly to their field placement prior to the start of the placement and at their own expense.
