Program Overview

If you’ve always loved acting and can’t see yourself doing anything else, the two-year Theatre program at Douglas can get you started. This program is designed for those passionate about the performing arts, providing a comprehensive foundation in acting, production, and theatre history. Students will engage in hands-on experiences, working on major productions and collaborating with industry professionals. The program not only prepares students for immediate entry into the theatre world but also sets the stage for further education and career opportunities in the arts.

Program Structure

The Theatre program at Douglas College is structured over four semesters, allowing students to immerse themselves in both theoretical and practical aspects of theatre. Key features of the program include:
