Program Overview

Our accredited Bachelor of Recreation Management program offers a unique opportunity to earn two degrees in just five years. Graduates will receive both a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and a Bachelor of Management, equipping them with a solid foundation in recreation and management fields. This program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in the growing recreation and leisure service industry, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their future roles.

Program Structure

The Bachelor of Recreation Management program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a five-year period. Key features of the program include:

  • Jointly offered by the Faculty of Health and the Faculty of Management.
  • Options for combined degrees, honours, and an internship.
  • A 16-week internship in the final year, providing hands-on work experience.
  • Specialized courses in recreation and management, with opportunities for electives.

Students will engage in a variety of introductory courses in their first year, followed by more specialized courses in subsequent years. The program also allows for the completion of certificates and majors in areas such as Leadership and Organizations or Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
