Program Overview

The Early Childhood Education program at Cambrian College is designed to cultivate curious children through a play-based learning approach. This innovative program emphasizes how children grow and learn through play, fostering an environment that is culturally relevant and nurturing. Students will engage in interactive classroom exercises that prepare them to design, plan, implement, and evaluate play-based learning for children from birth to 12 years of age. Practical experience is gained through an on-campus mock childcare classroom, and upon graduation, students can apply to become Registered Early Childhood Educators, opening doors to various childcare settings in the community.
